How the report helps

What you do, and what we do, at each step.

Explore your chart and your answers, side by side. Cultivate through four weeks of small, reversible practice. Optimise by checking what you did and what moved, then adjusting.

  1. Starts free

    Explore

Questioner character: a meerkat looking through a magnifying glass

How it helpsYou see two views side by side, a traditional chart and your own answers, and which of your six scores to look at first.

    What you do

Complete the free chart and 24 questions, and review the whole free result before deciding anything.

    What we do

We draw your chart and score your answers in your browser, side by side. In the report, we set out your answers score by score, quoting each statement and your answer, then your chart as a separate lens that asks questions rather than telling you who you are.

Free todayYour chart, your six scores and one place to start looking, with no sign-up.

  2. In the report

    Cultivate

Keeper character: a lop-eared rabbit grinding herbs

How it helpsYou get one score to focus on, and four weeks of small steps to practise in one everyday setting.

    What you do

Pick one everyday setting, take one small step a week, and stop whenever it is not useful.

    What we do

We start from the score where your answers lean furthest from the middle, show you the answers behind it, and build four weeks on your answers: one small, reversible step a week, with a clear point to stop.

The aimThe aim is range, not replacing how you usually work. Your usual way stays available; you are adding one more option in one setting.

  3. In the report · check-in included

    Optimise

Marshal character: a bear checking an hourglass

How it helpsYou see what you did and how your answers moved, then choose what to try next.

    What you do

After the four weeks, open your check-in on your practice page, note what you tried and answer the same 24 questions again.

    What we do

We give you the check-in on your practice page after the four weeks. It asks the same 24 questions again and compares your check-in answers, in your browser, with your earlier answers, never with other people or the chart. Then fixed rules help you choose what to try next.

Worth knowingYour chart stays the same; your answers are what can move.

Questions: support@practiceeco.com

  • What we prepare

A report prepared for your order from your chart and your answers to the 24 questions, checked against a fixed editorial standard before it reaches you.

  • What we send

Your report as a private web page and a PDF with the practiceeco mark, once payment is confirmed. We keep the files for up to 45 days, so save the PDF. If the report cannot be completed, you are refunded automatically.

  • During the four weeks

Your report links to your own practice page, which can add the dates to your calendar. What you answer there stays in your browser.

  • When you check back

Your check-in is included in the price. It opens on your practice page from day 21 after you start and waits there for you. Use it after the four weeks. If you lose the link, you can get it back by verifying your order.

What the report does for you

What is inside your report

Your free result stays complete without it. Here is what the report adds to it.

  • A four-week plan for one small, reversible change, followed by a check-in after the four weeks.
  • Twelve areas of life (the tradition calls them palaces), written in everyday words and arranged in six opposite pairs.
  • Your 24 answers quoted back and read group by group, before your chart comes in as a separate lens.
  • A private web page and a PDF, kept for up to 45 days and available to delete sooner.

You won't need to enter anything new.

What is a Purple Star chart?

Before you decide

Read three passages first.

Fictional sample: from a report written for an invented reader.

Sample report · answers view

You answered “With plenty of time, I am comfortable taking the first step in a new group project.” with Strongly agree. This answer places your comfort at the first move of a group task. In a new group project with plenty of time, moving first may make your direction visible before informal roles settle. That same move may also leave less room for hearing how someone else would like to begin.

Sample report · chart view

The Sovereign of the Inner Life palace is read here as the ruler out of the throne room and in private apartments: a mind that chooses for itself what it admits. Its inner life is arranged around a handful of concerns, with everything else kept waiting outside.

Sample report · four-week practice, week one

Why this fits your answers

You answered “When a plan stops working, I would rather start a different one than keep adjusting the old one.” with Strongly agree. This step takes the moment the answer places in view and keeps one detail steady within it, so you may notice what a kept part holds while the rest shifts without choosing which part should stay.

Action

After the first three days, choose one time in your chosen setting. When that time comes, keep one existing detail of your approach unchanged until the next natural pause, for no more than twenty minutes.

Stop if

Stop if keeping the detail unchanged starts to move a part of the setting you did not choose.
